#XSCOPE BROWSER HOW TO#
But don't take my word for it, try it yourself!īe sure to look at the tutorial to learn how to fully utilize xScope. There are still a bunch of slick features that I didn't even mention. Seriously, this browser could have come directly from Google or Apple and it wouldn't be surprising at all. Oh, and did I mention xScope is hella fast? The closing animation is quite pleasant, again, think Apple. Tabs are closed by going to the tab page you want to close and then tapping its tab icon at the top of the screen. You can also change tabs by tapping between them at the top of the screen, of course. The swiping is rotary, so the direction you swipe is not critical. You can swap between tabs with horizontal swipes.

Long pressing a link causes it to open in a new tab. This successive swiping may sound redundant, but it's very intuitive and a little bit fun. Another swipe pulls your notification bar back down, and, of course, you swipe down to unfurl that. Of course, sometimes you need an address bar, so you just swipe down from the top of the screen and it shows up. The experience is truly reminiscent of browsing on an Apple device, and you know that's a good thing. This setting makes the Droid X screen shine oh so brightly. That means no tab bar at the top, no address bar, and no notification bar. When viewing a single page, xScope can be set to have no visible interface. This is true continuously scaling browsing at its best. Both of these methods provide the cleanest zooming of any browser. Double tap and hold, then move left or right to move out or out. xScope embodies these principals more fully than any other browser. Chrome is all about being crazy powerful while being lightning fast and having a simple, streamlined interface.
#XSCOPE BROWSER PC#
If you are a Chrome user on your PC (you should be), you will love xScope. If you're looking for the browser to bring an iPhone-like experience to your X, this is it. Now, it is by far the sexiest browser available, and the most functional too. When it first came out, it was powerful, but its simple looks led to it being criminally overlooked. xScope is a browser that I only just heard about today.
